Eighteen years ago, I launched my very first photography business, R & J Photography with my wife Jennifer, fueled by a deep love for capturing moments and telling stories through the lens. Over the years, my journey took me through many twists and turns—balancing passion, work, and everyday life. Now, as life finally begins to slow down, I find myself drawn back to my creative roots and the breathtaking landscapes that make California so unique. From the rugged peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the vibrant streets of Southern California, photography has always been my way of connecting with the world around me.This brand reboot is more than just a new logo or website—it's a renewed commitment to my art and to sharing the beauty of the California outdoors. My goal is to capture the spirit of adventure, the peace of mountain mornings, and the candid moments of everyday life.

Robert J. Bell Photography is a California-certified Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE). My work is rooted in service—using storytelling and imagery to support the veteran community wherever I can. I welcome collaboration with veteran service organizations and nonprofit groups working on the front lines. I actively pursue projects that bring visibility to veteran homelessness, mental-health struggles, and the people fighting to address them. My goal is simple: use my craft to make sure these stories are seen, heard, and never ignored.
